It was my 2.5 year-old's first dentist appointment and he was a bit nervous about it. The playroom at the office is excellent, large and inviting, with many interesting toys. I had two consecutive appointments with Dr. Attaie. One for my 6 year old getting his molars sealed and my 3 year old having his first ever appointment. My older son was a little nervous about the whole thing and Dr. Attaie wisely had me leave the room. My presence was making him (my son) a little more susceptible to emotions and by leaving, he was able to be brave and feel more independent. He came out of it like a champ. Good call by Dr. Attaie. And, my younger son was very reluctant to get in the chair or be manipulated at all. Miraculously, he gently got my son on my lap and laid him back so that he was laying on my lap and his lap, cleaned his teeth and did it all with zero tears or freak outs. He's a smooth operator. Also, the hygenist was incredibly sweet and the facility is beautiful and well designed.
